夏旅ハネムーン ８月２日 『 築地市場と富士山 』Honeymoon Aug. 2 "Tsukiji Market & Mt. Fuji"

早朝から築地市場に行こうと思っていたものの、早朝どころか朝８時過ぎ頃に築地市場へ到着 　（ちなみに、大きな声では言えないけれど、築地市場が豊洲に移転予定というのをここにきて初めて知る。（汗）土壌問題言われてるけど、食の安全面は大丈夫なんかな？）

To Tsukiji Fish Market ( Tokyo central wholesale market. 15,000 restaurateurs and food sellers from all over the city buy 450 types of sea produce from about 1,700 stalls according to our guidebook. ) (This market will be moved to Toyosu soon, which I wonder really happens. )

　

新鮮な魚介類を使ったお店の前にはそれを目当てに食べに来た人達が列をなしていた。私たちはぐる〜っと市場を回り、市場内の雰囲気を楽しみました。市場の外の商店街らへんをうろうろして、どんなものが売られているのか物色。　海苔、鰹節、魚介類、食器類と色々なお店があるなかから、お猪口２個、有明海の焼き海苔を３０枚程、スイカと生姜の奈良漬を購入。

そして、魚市場に来たからには、海鮮やっぱり食べたいと思いながらさらに歩き回っていたら、店先で海鮮を焼いているお店を発見！！しかも列がない！美味しい匂いには勝てない〜！で、帆立と生ガキ食べました。笑　M氏は「朝から海鮮類は無理」と言って食べないので、一人で堪能　帆立はなんぼでも食べれる好きな味やったけど、生ガキは一人で食べるには大きすぎた！　

There are queues in front of fish food restaurants in the market. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the fish market, and headed to the shopping street outside of the market. At the shopping street which has various different stores, we bought roasted lavers, sake cups, watermelon and ginger pickles seasoned in sake lees. And we continued to walk with thinking aaa I still want to try seafoods here...then we found a shop grilling seafoods in front. cannot stop eating desire and there was no queue at the moment Mr.M didn't try with saying seafood in the morning is not for him... so I tried grilled scallop and raw oyster the raw oyster was so big and milky, and the grilled scallop was super tasty. It would have been even more tastier with a cup of sake .

朝２回目に行われる卸売りを見られるのは朝10時だけど、競りを見たいかと言われるとそうでもなかった。汗　ということで、競りを見ずに、曇ってて見えるかどうか分からないけど富士山を見に御殿場へ向かうことに

御殿場までの行程

品　川 駅 →(新幹線こだま６５１号)→ 小田原駅 → (小田急小田原線新松田行) → 新松田 駅 → 松　田 駅 → (JR御殿場線沼津行 → 御殿場 駅　

東京から鎌倉周りで行く事も出来たけど、Japan Rail Passを持っているので、新幹線で小田原まで行く方が早くてこの行き方になりました。御殿場駅に到着して、平和公園へ向かおうとバスがいつか確認しに行くと、なんとそのバスはもうやってないとのこと　しかも御殿場駅から富士山は曇ってて見えない。そして、インフォメーションセンターのおばちゃん「ここで見えなかったらどこいっても見えないと思うよ〜」と一言。とりあえずご飯食べようという事になり、駅近くのお食事処で富士山カレーを食べる。笑　

The 2nd wholesale bidding will be available to audit on 10 AM, but we were satisfied by walking around, so we headed to see Mt. Fuji even though the weather was quite cloudy...

Trains we took:

From Shinagawa station to Odawara station by Bullet train "Kodama #651"

From Odawara station to SHin matsuda station by OdakyuOdawara line (bound for Shinmatsuda)

From Matsuda station Gotenba station by JR Gotenba line bound for Numazu

At Gotenba station, we had a plan to get on the bus to Peace park, but figured that the bus route to the park is notworking anymore. Plus, the information center lady was saying "not possible to see Mt. Fuji if we cannot see the mountain from here... " Since the weather was too cloudy, we decided to eat lunch first. The lunch menu was Mt.fuji curry rice The shape was resemble to the scenery of Mt. fuji.

そして、ランチ後、一応ここまで来たし、アウトレット行きの無料バスに乗って、御殿場アウトレットへ富士山を眺めにいきましたが、やっぱおばちゃんの言う通り、目の前にあるはずの富士山は、雲で隠れて全く見えない。これがその写真↓　

After the lunch, since we came all the way from Tokyo to Gotenba, and could use the free bus to Gotenba outlet where it would be also possible to see the whole view of Mt. Fuji when it was sunny, we went to the outlet. However, as the lady said, Mt. Fuji was totally covered by the clouds.... we were not lucky at all.

アウトレットをぐるっと回り、遅くなりすぎないうちに神戸に向かって帰りました。　しっかし、アウトレットは外国人で一杯だった〜。　

At least, we enjoyed going around the outlet... and got on our way back to Kobe...

おまけ：　帰りに三島駅で見た富士山がこれ。。。結局、遠くから見えなかったら、何処からみても見えないってことやんな。御殿場に行くまでもなかったやん。。。

P.S. At Mishima station on the way back to Kobe, the view of Mt. Fuji was this. (better than the view at the outlet...) I guess if we cannot see the mountain from bullet train line, then most probably, we cannot see it even though we go closer...

夏旅ハネムーン ８月１日『 鎌倉 』 Honeymoon Aug.1 "Kamkura"

湘南新宿ライナーで東京から鎌倉へ。

鎌倉駅にて鎌倉コロッケを食べる　

To Kamakura from Tokyo by Sonan-Shinjuku liner.

We ate Kamakura croquette at Kamakura station.

江之島電鉄に乗り換え長谷駅へ。

To Hase station by Enoshima line. 　

長谷駅で降りて、長谷寺へ。

To Hase dera temple.

受付の横には花便りが置いてあり、どんな花が咲いてるのか知る事ができたけど、名前だけじゃどの花なのか分からない... 私たちの知識の狭さ。。。笑　
At the Entrance, they show what kind of flowers are blooming in the temple, but our limited knowledge cannot recognize which flower is which....

私の身長程ある水蓮。殆どの蓮の花は既に咲いた後だったみたいで、お花は少ししか残ってなかった。

The height of water lilies' leaves were same as my height. Most of the water lilies finished blooming already. Only the few were blooming.

そして、その隣にあった卍型の池

教典が納められている輪蔵と手でくるくる回すマニ車。　徳川家門が柱に刻まれていたので、この建物自体はそんなに古くないのかも？

There was a rotating bookracks called "Rinzo" where the important Buddhist sutras are kept. It is said you can get the same merit as from reading all the sutras by rotating the rinzo. Also on the wall, there was prayer wheels (The mantra was written in Sanskrit.)

The bamboo trees in front of the building was so beautiful.

お寺の裏にある高台に登って

Went up to the view point in the temple由比ケ浜を眺めました　あ〜泳ぎたかった。。。

Then we enjoyed the view of yuigahama beach.

大仏様をおがみに行く途中で、食べ物に吸い寄せられて、紫芋アイスクリームを食べました　美味しい〜♡

We were attracted by purple-fleshed sweet potato ice cream on the way to the Great Buddha in Kotoku in temple. Tasty

鎌倉の大仏様。　小さい頃に来たことがあったかもですが全く覚えてなくて、初めてみる大仏様にびっくり。

めっちゃでかぁーい！　

Great Buddha of Kamakura ( bronze statue of Amitabha buddha). I knew it was huge, but still I got surprised to see the huge Buddha!

大仏様を後にし鎌倉駅まで戻って、小町通りでランチへ。メインの通りにはなんだか微妙なお店しかなくて、脇へそれて見つけた良さげなお店があたりやった♡　「地の幸のごはん　ヨシザキ食堂」

M氏は、チキン定食を、私はシラスとお肉の二食丼を注文。　凄いボリューム満点の定食で、美味しい〜！　

After the Great Buddha, we went back to Kamakura station and searched for the lunch place on Komachi street. On the Komachi street, we were not attracted any restaurants, but we found one called Yoshizaki diner on the side street. Mr. M ordered a friend chicken meal and I ordered a meal with boiled whitebait and seasoned minced meat. The meals had quite a lot of volume with nice lunch price. We chose quite nice shop for our lunch.

鶴岡八幡宮へ

To "Tsuruoka Hachiman shrine". It was build by Minamoto Yoritomo (the founder of Kamaukura era)

池には蓮が沢山咲いててなんだか優美な雰囲気。後でウィキペディアを読んで知ったけれど、池は、北条政子が掘らせたといわれる源平池で、東側の源氏池には白い蓮、源家の色を。西側の平家池には赤い蓮、平家の色を。赤い蓮は平家が流した血を表してる。源氏池には３つの島が、平家には４つの島があり、３は源氏の発展を願う「産」、４は平家の滅亡を願う「死」をかけているらしいです。優美な雰囲気だけど、恐ろしや〜

Water lilies on the pond. According to the wikipedia, " The Azuma Kagami says that "In April 1182 Minamoto no Yoritomo told monk Senkō and Ōba Kageyoshi to have two ponds dug within the shrine." According to another version of the story, it was Yoritomo's wife Masako who, to pray for the prosperity of the Minamoto family, had these ponds dug, and had white lotuses planted in the east one and red ones in the west one, colors which are those of the Taira and Minamoto clans. From this derives their name. The red of those lotuses is supposed to stand for the spilled blood of the Taira." It was said that Masako also prayed for the downfall (even extinction??) of Taira family and the prosperity of Genji family. Even though water lilies on the pond creates the gracefully beautiful atmosphere, it is bit scary after hearing the story.

階段を登ってclimbed up the stairs 振り返ると鳥居と大通りが一直線に見えました。　
turned around, then we could see the shrine gate and the main street straight in front of us.


建長寺 ここも凄い門構えでびっくり。。。　

東京に戻って、東京の高層ビルを眺める事ができるビルとM氏がガイド本を読んだというので、（というのも高所恐怖症のM氏、Skytreeも東京タワーも無理なので、ビルなら行ってみたいということだったのですが。。。）東京都庁の前を通り過ぎ

て隣のビルへ。

超高層ビルは高すぎて、しかもビルの構造が筒状で中心がつきぬけているので、通路は壁に沿って歩くし、窓近くに近寄れず。結局遠くからぼーっと眺めて、写真は私が撮影。。。笑　

We went back to Tokyo to see Tokyo view from a high rise building because Mr. M cannot go up to skytree tower & Tokyo tower, and wanted to see the view from building. It was too high for him that he couldn't be close to the window... but he could see the view. so I guess it was good to visit.

夏旅ハネムーン 7月31日『 東京 』 Honeymoon July 31 "To Tokyo"

Japan Rail Pass (ジャパンレイルパス）で鉄道を使って夏旅（私たちにとってはハネムーン♡）へ行ってきました。　
西明石駅８時１６分発　JR新幹線ひかり460号→東京駅11時４０分着で東京へ
Finally we used Japan Rail Pass. The first time use was for our honeymoon in Japan
To Tokyo station from Nishiakashi station by JR bulled train "Hikari" No.460.
コインロッカーへ荷物を入れ（ちなみに、昼間に空いてるコインロッカー探すの大変やったし、出口がどこでどこにいったらええのかとかようわからんくて東京について３０分後ぐらいで既にイライラ。。。)、昼食後、明治神宮へ
Put our suitcase and other unnecessary things into the coin locker in the station and went to Meiji Shrine. (Searching for the available coin locker took so much time even though there are many coin lockers because it was already late morning ... and it was hard to find the correct exit....30 minutes after arriving at Tokyo was already enough time for me to get annoyed..) In any case, we went to Meiji Shrine after lunch. (Meiji Shrine "Meiji Jingu" (imperial shrine) is Shinto shrine in Tokyo from 1920. The emperor meiji and the empress Shoken are enshrined here. )

The front gate of Meiji shrine. A wide graveled road under this gate leads to the main shrine. The forest of cedars cooled down the summery high temperature, and it was an oasis in the city. Main shrine.

明治神宮御苑へ　To Maiji Jingu Inner Garden

内苑には365種１２万本が計画的に植えられて、1970年の調査では247種１７万本に。

365 different kind of trees (120,000 trees) were planted in this garden, and it was 247 kind of trees (170,000 trees) in 1970.

隔雲亭（かくうんてい）　明治天皇が皇后の為に作らせた家なんだって。硝子が涼しげで夏の雰囲気にぴったり　

"Kakuun tei" The teahouse style house was built by an order of Emperor Meiji as a rest house for Empress Shoken.　

御苑内の池には睡蓮が咲いてました。　Water lilies were blooming in the pond.

宝蔵門（仁王門）。この門の2階は宝物庫になっていて、ガイドブックによると１４世紀の中国からの仏教経典が納められているらしい。　　　

Hozo-mon Gate (Deva gate, two deva kings (guardian gods) of the temple gate are standing in the gate). According to the guide book, this two story gate has a treasure house upstairs holding a number of 14 century chinese sutras.

Dinner in Shinjuku with my friends. It was great to see my friends after a while.

７月２６日 京都散策

家族と京都でランチ♡　Lunch with my family in Kyoto.

おそば屋さんですが、私は細うどんを注文。This was soba noodle restaurant, but I ordered slim Udon noodle meal

ランチの後、平安神宮にて用事を済ませて、迷っていた茶筒を購入しに四条通りへ。To Shijo Street to buy Tea leaf containers after lunch.

柄が一杯あって迷いましたが、結局２個購入。（購入した品物は→こちら♡）There were various variations, and it was hard to choose, but in the end, we chose 2 bottles. (the purchased containers are here→☆)

M氏が食後の珈琲を飲みたいというので、なんか良い珈琲屋さんないかなとうろうろしていたら、四条河原町の寺町通りで珈琲の旗をたまたま発見。なんだか地下にあるしメニューは手書きだし微妙な感じでしたが、怪しげな珈琲カフェへ。でも、これが当たりでした。　というか、以前、百万遍の手作り市に行った時に飲めなかった珈琲がこの珈琲屋さんの珈琲だったっていうことにお店に入って気がついた。。。笑　お店の名前は「御多福珈琲」

With Mr. M's request, we hanged around the streets looking for a good coffee place. Then, we found a coffee flag!The cafe was located in the basement and the menu was handmade, so it seemed mysterious...but it was actually the great coffee place (After knowing the cafe's name, we realized that we have seen this at a handcraft market in Kyoto and couldn't get a coffee on that day because it was sold out.) This coffee place is called "Otafuku Coffee"

内装はとってもレトロで、カップとソーサもちゃんとしたやつで、珈琲も美味しい。M氏一言「ここの珈琲おいしい」笑　

マクドナルドの珈琲とセブンイレブンの珈琲のが一番美味しいとカフェに入るたびに言っていたので、京都でちゃんとした珈琲屋さんがたまたま見つかって、２人とも満足。　

This cafe's interior is retro style, and has good atmosphere that we believe people can spend quiet & calm time. And of course, the coffee was very tasty with nice cake. We were quite happy that we happened to find this coffee place.

その後、通りかかった雑貨屋さんでガラス製の醤油差しを見つけて購入し、セレクトリサイクルショップの『Pass the Baton 京都祇園店』へ。　ただたんなるリサイクルショップではなくて、（お店の言葉をかりると）「個人から集めた思い出の品物や、凄く愛用していたけれど今は使わない、でも捨てるのは惜しい。そんな品物を、大切に使ってくれる次の方へ、持ち主の顔写真とプロフィール、品物にまつわるストーリーを添えて販売」しているお店です。

To the recycle shop after the coffee. This recycle shop is not normal recycle shop, but it sells " The personal memorabilia" Individuals used to love the product, but not using it anymore, and cannot throw away. so they sell those favorite products there with their own photo, profile, & the products story. Old potteries, bags, or accessaries, etc..Of course, it is not so cheap like normal recycle shop, but I saw that the products has been selected fashionably and cherished well.

今回は何も買わんかったけど、とっても雰囲気のある店構えでまた来たいと思わせてくれるお店やった。アンティーク食器を使ったおしゃれなカフェも併設されてました。　
I didn't buy anything this time, but I want to visit there again. They also have a fashionable cafe which they use antique potteries inside. お店の前を流れるこの白川の流れに沿って散歩しました。We left the shop to walk along this Shirakawa river to the Heian shrine.

途中でスイカ味の和菓子を食べました。Ate a Japanese sweet with watermelon taste. ;)

夏前に食べに行った中華料理屋さん Chinese restaurant "Home town smaak"

夏休み前に行った中華料理屋さんをご紹介〜☆金曜日の夜のご飯のお誘いで行ってきました。
私たちが食べたのは全部で４品。麻婆豆腐が美味しかったよと言っていた通り、ご飯がすすむ麻婆豆腐でした♡　中華にくると麺が食べたくなる。。。ということで、麺も。　野菜が食べたいということで、名前忘れたけれど、一口大に切られた野菜炒め。　中国菜心と牛肉の炒め物　
お腹いっぱい！
少し全体的に塩辛かったけれど、何人かで行くとコスパも良くてそれなりに美味しいお店だったので、また行きたいなぁ。笑

Introducing a chinese restaurant that I went to before the summer vacation. I went to eat there with the other 3 people. We ate Mapotofu, Noodle, stir-fried vegetables, stir-fried beef with chinese choi sam. One thing I can say was little bit salty for all the dishes, but it was tasty with nice price. If I want to eat silky tofu desperately, I might want to visit this restaurant again. ;)
